Rental Agreement & Safety Rules
You agree to these terms when you book. They exist for one reason: keeping kids safe and parties fun.
Sign Your Rental Agreement →Supervision & Safe Use
- • A responsible adult (18+) must actively supervise the bounce house at all times while it is inflated.
- • No shoes, glasses, jewelry, sharp objects, food, drink, gum, silly string, or face paint inside the unit.
- • No flips, wrestling, climbing walls or netting, or hanging from seams.
- • Group riders by similar size and age; follow the posted rider limit for your unit.
- • No one with head, neck, or back conditions, and no one pregnant, should use the unit.
Weather
- • The unit must be exited immediately in sustained winds above roughly 15–20 mph, or in rain or lightning.
- • Rain-out policy: cancel by the morning of your event for a full refund of your deposit, or reschedule free to any open date.
- • If unsafe weather develops during the rental, deflate the unit (we show you how at delivery) and call us.
Setup, Power & Site
- • Customer provides a reasonably flat setup area of adequate size and a standard 120V outlet within 100 feet.
- • Customer marks any sprinkler lines, septic components, or buried utilities in the setup area before delivery.
- • The blower must run continuously during use. Do not unplug or move the unit once set up.
Rental Period & Delivery
- • Rentals are a 4-hour party window. We deliver and set up about an hour to 90 minutes before your party, and pick up after.
- • A responsible adult (18+) must be present at delivery to review the safety rules and pay any balance due.
Payments, Cancellations & Damage
- • A 50% deposit reserves your date; the balance is due on delivery.
- • Non-weather cancellations 48+ hours before the event receive a full deposit refund; inside 48 hours, the deposit may be retained.
- • The equipment is cleaned, inspected, and provided in working order. Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear (e.g., cuts, silly string residue, pet damage) and for keeping the unit attended.
- • The customer accepts responsibility for the equipment from delivery until pickup.
Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
- • Use of inflatable equipment carries an inherent risk of injury; the customer assumes that risk for themselves and their guests.
- • To the extent permitted by Maine law, the customer releases and holds harmless Happy Hoppin and its owner, operators, and staff from claims arising out of use of the equipment while in the customer's care.
